About Me
I have been involved in the hospitality business for over 25 years. I have had
my own hotel in the Cotswolds, a wedding venue in East Sussex and was an event
organiser for a top London marketing and P.R. company. I have been a toastmaster
for over 15 years and have been involved in over 500 weddings and events. I am a
member of the guild of professional toastmasters and was their chairman from
2002 till 2004.
I have always enjoyed being with people and trying to match their aspirations
and dreams to what is achievable, whether it is a small function of around 20
people or a large event for over 1,000. I am also an after dinner speaker and
have once had to talk at a function where I was working as a toastmaster because
the guest speaker did not arrive.
I live on the Kent / East Sussex borders but I am happy to work anywhere. As
well as the U.K. I have worked in France, Spain, Holland and was the first
English toastmaster to work at Disney World in Florida USA I have also appeared
on television having been a contestant on the “deal or no deal” programme
amongst others.
I would love to discuss any function or event with you however big or small it
